The deer is dead. I didn't go down, and rode away. Luckily I had been taking it easy due to salt/sand leftovers in the road. Good thing too, because it was a sweet uphill banked turn I usually like to play on that this little fella popped out of...

Hmmm... BAD news you hit the deer, but you're OK! GOOD news is it was NOT a moose! LOL!
Seriously, it is a miracle you and the scooter were not badly hurt! It's sort of a joke around here that everything in Texas is BIG... Except the deer... LOL! Hunters showing off pix of their deer-hunt trophy to northerners often get comments like... "Cheesh, is that some farmer's dog you shot?" I still don't want to hit one on a scooter!
Ride safe!

Also glad you weren't hurt. Did it damage your scooter at all?

Nice one. You always hear about someone that totaled their car after hitting a deer, yet you managed to survive it and drove away on a scooter.
Glad you're ok.

It's not as bad as it looks! I did not launch the deer that far... some moron drove over it and dragged it while I was picking up pieces! So, anyone got Reflex parts?? or know how well the clone pieces fit?? I must have hit that sucker right between the legs... seems like the huge front end absorbed a lot of the impact. the two bars that stick out to hold up the front fascia are both bent in and back almost exactly the same... I'm sure that took a lot of the stress too. It rode home strait... where do I need to look for evidence of stress??

Wow, you are one lucky rider! I hope you were able to donate the meat to a zoo or big cat shelter or some such, that's what we did in Missouri when we found a fresh kill on the side of the road one year, and the zoo was very appreciative!
