I did readjust the a/f screw, did it again this morning. I took a look at the enricher again, I see the notches on the enricher, but they dont match anything on the carb. The thing is im not even sure the ericher is turning off the extra fuel. The scoot runs the same if i take the enricher out and keep my finger over the hole. Which would make the scoot run rich at idle. Not letting me adjust the a/f screw correctly. I know the one in the carb moves up and down.
edit: I also just took out the vacuum petcock and put in a manual on/off valve, to eliminate the vacuum hose.

Are covering the TOP of the hole with your thumb to NOT ALLOW AIR IN? that is what you have to do is take the enricher off and COVER THE TOP OF THE HOLE. If it leaks it will not create enough suction to suck up from from the bowl when COLD.
Now when you take the ENRICHER off lay it on its side and over the hole with your thumb then start the motor. Hold your finger on the hole for about 3-4 mintues and watch the ENRICHER and the CYINDER with the needle on it should EXTEND out about 1/4 of an inch within the 3-4 minute time the motor is idleing. I have 4 enrichers here, so what I did was to pull the one I have on there and replace it with a none working one that I had. I pluged in the one that I took out. It got warm and extended. I know ypu said to look for notches, the enricher has the notches. But the carb does not have the matching bumps.
The engine didnt speed up when I had the hole covered with my finger, it ran the same as if the enricher was on there. The engines rpm went up when I removed my finger from the hole.

You say finger you must have big fingers in order to really cover the hole because the hole is pretty big that the enricher fits into. That is why I always say to use your THUMB to cover the hole. Well if it does nothing something is clogged in the ENRICHER passages. So I would take the carb off and see if spray into the holes that feed the ENRICHER are clear. The ENRICHER has THREE holes: One hole feeds air. One hole sucks fuel from the bowl. One hole feeds fuel to the Intake that hole is on the right side in front of the butterfly. Alleyoop
