had to kick start for the first time today. turned my scoot off when i was in line at the atm and when i turned the key i had no power. if it wasn't for this forum i wouldn't have known to disconnect the ignition switch. was nearly 3 miles from the house so thank you for that!

As long as the plug matches it will work just make sure the wires are in the same spot on the pins as the old ignition you'll most likely have to switch wires around. They pop in and out of the plug easy to move done this many times.
