I won't ride in Winter weather but I did see a guy riding a scooter on 12/31/13 when I was entering Wal-Mart's parking lot.

I routinely ride in the winter to and from work. The coldest temperature was 15 deg. My only limiting requirements are that the roads are 'clear and dry' and my scooter starts.

-6F is the coldest ever. 2F degrees this winter. I will ride as long as there is no ice or snow on the road. I ride a 40 mile round trip commute...

See, here I am, a total wussy. I think the coldest I've ridden is 40-something. When it's stupid-cold like it is right now, I feel that's why God gave us heaters in our cars. >'Kat

31F, but I live in Vegas, so that seemed like the north pole to us. A windshield makes all the difference in cold weather!

17 below zero, foot of snow over ice, to work in Chicago on my '57 Harley chopper... But that was in 1965 (I was 19; I'm smarter than that now... LOL!). That old hog was punched out to more than 160 cid, with 13:1 compression, kick-start only. Running Harley Davidson "regular medium" oil (about SAE straight 30 weight) it was a true piece of work to get fired up in winter. Usually had to resort to squirting ether, and "run n' bump" in 3rd gear... Cheesh, 67 is a LONG way from 19... LOL!
I guess the coldest I've ridden lately was today... 24 degrees, sunny and dry streets on my Kymco 250, electric-start only, and fires up like summer!
Still pretty cold... HeHeHe....
Leo (thankful for electric-start and a windshield) in Texas
