I want an owner's manual for my scooter--a 2011 VIP Future Champion 50cc. I would like to do some maintenance, but I do not understand most of what people say on forums for "beginners", and I cannot find a manual to help me figure out what they are talking about. None of the dealers near here has one. Web searches have turned up nothing. What do I do?

Valves A qualified technician should adjust the valves every 400 miles... 400 miles? really? i've been doing mine about every 1000 miles and i thought that was excessive. wow

Thanks. How much of this should I expect to be the same as on my scooter? For instance, it tells me the type of transmission fluid to use.
Does anyone know where I can get more in depth diagrams? For instance, this manual tells me to adjust the air-mixture screw. I have no idea where that is even after spending hours looking for it. I waste so much time trying to figure out what things are.

There's no "Owners manual" for Chinese scooters. You deal with each component separately. Most Chinese scooters use gy6 engines, so you only need to know about gy6's and they're the same on all scooters (except Vespas). The electrics are the same, and there's maybe 6 different body styles (they change the decals for each make). The transmissions/clutches are all the same, whether it's a 20-yr old Honda or a 2009 Kymco or a 2013 TaoTao (except Vespas).
