So I found one for 19bucks +$7shipping and had it in the garage for a couple months because i'm lazy and wasn't installing it until I needed to go back in that area. Long story short...
I got bored today and replaced the piston rings and threw in the camshaft while I was at it. Test rode it and OMG. I thought the scooter was about to leave without me. It it reached top speed QUICK. and went faster.
I only replaced the rings because when I did the bbk, I went broke and couldn't get an epa free carb and was running so lean that my oil turned black in 3 days. And I skipped break in and rode it hard. all summer, so I figured they were prematurely worn.
I know that
% if not all of the power and speed increase was due to the camshaft not the rings.
I don't think theirs any point of doing a bbk without an A9. It provided me with the power and speed it feels like ive spent my whole life trying to achieve.
