I met a guy a few years ago he started out as a customer but now is my best friend he has a truck that we named scooter rescue unit. Lol! How many miles did you have on your scooter before the belt broke?

The 1500 rpm torque spring will shred a cheap belt in a few miles I bought a Jerry baker cheapie belt ran it with a 1500 rpm spring chewed it up in 50 miles Hey guys -I am thinking of getting a spare belt ,just in case as I have the original Chinese on now . Is the only way to get the number of the belt is to take the cover of the variator ? I had it partially off once but I didn't have a pair of pliers to remove the split washer behind the kick starter arm .I hate to go to all that trouble again if there is a better way of getting the part number. I have a 50cc three wheeler called Q6 . Thanks

Is the only way to get the number of the belt is to take the cover of the variator ? Typically 139QMB shortcase motors have 669x18x30 belts. Although I have seen several that use different belts in the standard case. Long case 50cc motors can use at least 3 different belts. I don't have the numbers memorized at the moment. If you have your user manual (LOL) it may say it. Otherwise the best way is to open your CVT cover and take a look.
