Ok, Fixing to order the Taida 61mm bbk, Taida big valve head, and either A-13 or A-10 Camshaft. How do I know if mine is 54 stud spacing or 57 stud spacing? B case engine? Its going on the Scooter in my sig. below. I think pretty much just like a Peace Vip with 13" wheels, Long case type belt 842. Just wanting to make sure the stuff will fit. I'm going to order from Walt at scooterelements, Maybe he can help?

If I were you I would take the Valve cover off and measure the spacing so you won't be disappointed and get the wrong one and have to send it back. Alleyoop

Alleyoop From what I have read, the NCY 61mm BBK will fit without machining the cases. I'm wanting to order my stuff as we speak now. They say on the sight that the Taida kits will fit without boring cases, I'm wanting the biggest kit without boring cases.... Thanks to everyone! Randy

That my friend has nothing to do with your question:
As for the 61 fitting without boring a standard GY6 Case Some Do and Some Do Not Fit Without Boring. The biggest one I know that does not require boring is the 58.8, but good luck and hope it slips right in. Alleyoop

Alleyoop I pretty sure mine is not the B case engine, I found the NCY 61mm BBK on ebay for $109.48 From what I have read they are the only 61mm that fits right in?

Well let me tell you of GY6 cases that NCY BORED out that some dealers where selling. It was bored out BUT so close to the STUD holes and the side where the chain goes there must of been 1/32 of material left and the motor went KABOOM. Due to the vibrations that you always get from the piston and explosion going on it broke the side of the case where the chain is as well as around two of the stud holes.
Like I said Some will fit and Some will NOT, it depends on your case really. All of the Cases are not the same if its 1-2mm smaller it will not fit. We are talking MMs not inchs but like I said I hope it fits your case and it slips right in without any troubles. Good Luck Bro let us know if the jug slipped right in. If It does your on your way to some good added power. Alleyoop

Alleyoop Ok, going the NCY kit 61mm Route, that way I know there wont be any boring of cases. Going with the NCY big valve head to match, not sure about cam yet, maybe 13, 10, or 9. Sorry to bother and ask so many questions, I just don't want to put cheap stuff in my ride, and I'm kinda on a budget. Anyhow, Thanks to Alley, Millsc, and everyone on here! You guys are great! Give it a shot It may fit right in I am just forewarning you it is not 100% I don't give a poop what they say. As you should know by now dealers will say anything to sell the stuff. But what the NCY folks had to do to say it will fit is shave the outside of the JUG down at least 1mm so that it will have a chance to fit . You probably will be able to see the difference in the thickness of the wall of the two jugs when you take the old jug out and compare them. Alleyoop

Alleyoop I read where OrphanSoul put on the NCY 61BBK and said it was fine, very unnoticeably I think he said to the Hoca 61bbk, if I read correctly. I done ordered the NCY and matching big valve head, and A-10 cam....

I considered the ncy 61mm but I was afraid the cylinder walls would be too thin so I went with the 60mm that had thicker cylinder walls I figured 6cc wasn't gonna make a difference
