'05 Piaggio Typhoon. Hasn't been run since May, and now won't start--no surprise. 1600 miles. A few dings and bruises, but looks in good shape. NO title, but seller has paperwork from original owner. New battery, service, and tuneup last Spring. Seller asking $625. Deal, or no deal---opinions??? Thanks!

With no title you are asking for a lot of headaches. I would keep shopping around.

Thank you.
If I COULD get a title some way, would the Typhoon be worth it? Nothing major that I can see about the general condition.

I'd say check with your DMV and see how hard getting a title with that "paperwork" would be. If it's going to cost lots or take a long time with hard work, then I'd say pass. If it'll just be some hassle and some money, then why not?
Er, why not depending on what you find after looking under the seat and seeing if there's anything obviously wrong with it. But my non-mech guess would be the owner didn't put the battery on a tender and it's dead, Jim.
