I've never tried Dr pulley variators cost too high when I could get kosos for under 25 bucks and they perform way better than stock so I always buy koso couldn't imagine any other brand being much better or if at all at least for the price difference

My advice is to keep the Dr pulley you spent too much on it to take a loss I'd get a set of gears to take advantage of the rpm you'd gain speed and lower rpms at the same time

Not unless my local scooter guy ripped me off and just told me he put the gear set in? You see, I told him to order me the NCY taller gears, I paid him, then he ordered them, few days later they came in at his house, then he called me and came over and installed them. I had known the guy for a while and done a lot of business with him, I don't think he would have ripped me off. I thought he could have took my taller NCY gear set out of the box, and put the same stock gears back in the box, and came over and thought I wouldn't know any better. Dang if I know.......

You could always count the teeth on the gears that came off and figure it out.

Get a taller set like 16 37 or 16 36 will for sure lower rpm and give you a top end boost
