Just put my new Dr. Pulley variator in, before I had a Koso look a like off ebay which worked just fine, anyways, I am very disappointed in the Dr. Pulley variator! I also put in Dr. Pulley 11gram sliders in, went to work the next day for the first ride and noticed my rpms shot up drastically to 7000-8000 rpms, and my speeds went way down. Before was the koso variator mentioned above, with koso 12gram rollers at 6000 rpms cruising at 50+mph. I even put in Hoca 14 gram rollers in the Dr. Pulley variator and still high rpms. I'm gonna put in my previous setup tonight and see what happens, I will reply the results tomorrow.

It kinda stinks when the lower priced parts work better than more expensive better marketed products . The sliders work very well with the Koso variator .

I love my koso variators I use them in all my scooters they are also lighter than stock and need heavier weights got a real koso from China for 25 bucks shipped

Takes about a month to get also Remember the cam you asked me for from my site is sitting here . Yes china sellers are cheaper than US sellers , remember the importer has a hand in it then shipping is tacked on twice before you buy it . Competing with china sellers is a no profit sale every time . If you have a problem its a long wait . John |

I only buy my variators from China I got most everything else from scooterelements I figure it would hard to break or get a broken variator I try to avoid ebay if possible. Best to buy from John or Walt

There is quite a bit of Value to having it in stock.... I'll say that.
I'm a buyer by profession and there is an old adage... "Cheap, Fast, and of good quality, Pick two"
You can have it quick and of good quality but it is not going to be cheap, or you can get it fast, cheap and the quality will not be there, or of course you can get it cheap and of good quality but you are going to have to wait for it.... You can't, in most cases have all three.

Yep the old value, price, time, conundrum. Except when ordering silicone coolant hose, where you pay an exorbitant amount and STILL wait forever to get them!  |

I paid 110.55$ for the Dr. variator and sliders and all it did was hurt my performance. I could have bought one of those flatside carbs that uses no vacuum. Guess I will be putting the Dr. variator for sale, but I don't recommend using it. The build quality is good but that's about it. |

Well here is what you do put it up for sale and be forth coming as to why your selling it . I have every cdi out there , I only active sell about 3 .
