Take a picture of the hole your talking about, there should not be any hole Under the gear box. They will have a VENT hole on top of the gear box but they have a hose connected to it so it vents. Alleyoop

You are missing the connector plus little hose: I Really think that is there so you can see if you have oil in the tranny if you ask me. Look for a hose on top somewhere coming from the tranny back there. If you have a VENT HOSE on top you can just Plug that HOLE UP. If you want to have that then Look inside the hole and see if it is threaded, If so you can get a L type screw on connector at any hardware store. If not then you need to thread it to a "L" shape connector they usually have them in COPPER. Stick a Clear Hose on it and plug up the hose on the end. Alleyoop

If there is no vent hose somewhere on top for the tranny then that is the PVC vent. So you need to thread it and get an "L" shape connector to screw in there and stick a hose on it. BUT since the Vent is a ONE way Vent , the one you will get is just open on both ends so you will have to add a hose and have it bent up and tied and long enough so the oil does not come out. Those are special one way PVC VENTS. Alleyoop

i try to run it w/ the hole close i put a rubber to close it when i look at it after 2miles i see some oil under the gearbox and when i remove the rubber that put in the hole i hear pressure coming out so i don't think i can close it w/ rubber stopper maybe your right its a vent to release pressure i did not notice that before....i don't know what pvc vent look like...

Yes it is the VENT for the Tranny and that is what they call a PCV vent when enough pressure is applied it opens the valve and relieves the pressure built up. Alleyoop

I have that same hole on both of my scooters and they don't have any oil coming out . I think its a vent hole. Try replacing the gasket.
