Jonway also has a 16 inch wheel model . My Echarm has 16s and to me its like a crossover between a scooter and a motorcycle with the taller wheels which handles high speed much better . Overall I prefer 13 inch wheels better since they often have a 130mm wide tire which rides and handles better to me and still fun to ride

In my case, WI roads are bad, and even avoiding harshest potholes/ bumps, medium ones are wicked enough with the huge tires on the van, rough on 16" wheels. I have a 13" wheel scooter too and the same roads are worse on it than the 16". And I'm riding 45mph roads, so I tend to be around 50mph all the time. Wind and traffic are better on the bigger wheeled bike.

howdy, just my opinion but the larger diameter tires ride better and are more like a motorcycle when zig'n and zag'n. one reason they might ride better is because of the longer swing arm to accommodate the longer distance to the center of the rear wheel? that's just a shot off the top of the feeble brain.
lotsa miles and smiles to ya ken

Actually, side winds are worse on big wheels in my experience. And potholes only to the amount where the outside diameter of the 13 in tire would be smaller than the outside of a 16in tire.
Quite often a 16" rim is equipped with very thin profile tires, compared to the 13 in wheels. both in width and height. meaning, a 13 in tire can easily have a 19" outside diameter, while a 16 in tire can be 20-21in total diameter, but it's way thinner in width.

My 2T with 130/60/13s is not bothered by wind or crappy roads like it does on my Echarm . I was looking at getting a street and trail 250 motorcycle before getting a scooter and may get later on as I love playing in the mud . Check out www.evosales.com as they have some as well as scooters and more . My Echarm uses 100/80/16 F and 110/80/16R which is 20mm narrower . The stock tires had a zig zag pattern in the middle which made it unstable when going across edges of patches and cracks . The new Shinko SR740 has a line straight in the middle and wow it rides so much better and handles like another scooter now compared to the ChengShin tires

I forgot to say get the wheels balanced as it made a huge improvement on the ride as it removed shakes and bounces which made it sketchy when zooming at 75 MPH

Riding the same roads, I prefer the 16". As for cross wind, I havent ridden the 13" wheel Znen in high winds, just normal wind. Neither has a windshield but the Xingyue probably has a larger front. In high winds and semi-truck/trail oncoming wash, no problem on the Xingyue. Not really a problem on the Znen, but I think the Xingyue feels better. Taller rims and tires = fewer tire revs per mile. my 13" tires arent all ballooney either, I wouldnt mind fatter tires on both the 13" and 16" wheels.

Ive been up to 66mph (GPS) on the Xingyue, down a large hill with a strong tail wind, and around 8500rpm. I wonder how far I can crank it. Haven't had the Znen much over 50mph.

Hi All: WOW....Many thanks for the insight! Geez...I wasn't expecting this type of replies so early! To answer your question...I buying this for myself & giving my Kymco Super 8 150cc to my wife. I'm tall & like those 16" wheels! I owned a Kymco People S200 & loved it. Too bad it's no longer imported to the US shores anymore. I'm well aware of the SYM HD200 (great scooter) but I'm trying too keep the price down as I'll be leaving both scooters @ my parents home in Florida that I visit like 4-5 times a year. I don't care for those 10"-12" tires myself. I find they get a tad "twitchy" above 40+MPH myself. I'm considering keeping the Super 8 for myself & scoring this Bintelli Havoc 150cc for my wife here: www.bintelli.com/150cc/havoc-150ccwww.bintelli.com/150cc/havoc-150cc/2-uncategorised/64-havoc-150cc-galleryI know...The Havoc has 13" tires...but I LOVE the look of the scooter! Too be honest...I really dig the 16" scooter looks. I think I can get the Bintelli Havoc for around $1700.00 delivered to my parents home. I'm a real fanboy of Bintelli! They are the best Chinese-made scooter out there with a "real" dealer network with parts! ...they offer 1-year roadside assistance! I didn't know there was that many Chinese made 16" rimmed scoots out there! I'll follow-up & let you all know what I'm going to purchase. Thanks All!

A Jonway RockThunder has 16s plus a remote start , alarm hazrd lights and a radio with mp3 plug . Here is one of the last Echarms but it has a carb instead of EFI www.scootersus.com/cfmotoECHARM.html . Now the Glory has EFI , LC engine with 14s and F&R disc brakes instead of cabled drums like many have www.scootersus.com/cfmotoGLORY.html . CFMoto has a FULL 2 year warranty with unlimited mileage including electronics where Honda has a limited 1 year warranty . To have the warranty the dealer must do the first oil change at 250 or 300 miles . The CFMotos do not have all off the part options like a GY6 but it easily out powered a modded 150 as I can hit 60 MPH uphill with a passenger . It purrs like a kitten at 50 and is fine at 60 where above that it gets interesting

In case you guys didn't hear, we now offer 1 year of roadside assistance with every new scooter. We're only the second company in the country to offer this: www.dealernews.com/dealernews/article/scooter-maker-bintelli-adds-roadside-assistance
