Hello everyone, So i'm liking the new site. I'm glad there are people following over. I have a 150cc Gy6 scooter. I got it running a while back and all I had to do was replace the tires. But then I got lazy... and left it out in the rain... Now it won't start. It gives me no response. No lights, nothing. So i pulled the battery out and charged it all night. Put it back in and still nothing... I have a couple of ideas on what the problem may be and I was wondering if I could get some better direction on here. Ok so here's my battery plugged up: I figured it could be the fuse coming off of the battery but It doesn't look blown. I can still see a connection through the glass and there's no black build up from blowing. The next place that the power goes is to this box: I'm not real sure what this is called though. From here it splits out and goes many different place like spark plug, lights, etc,. This box may need to be replaced. Another problem i guess could be my ignition. It looks a little corroded. This could be faulty causing it not to making a connection when I turn the key. That is all I have for now. If anybody has any ideas or some troubleshooting methods for me then feel free. It's greatly appreciated ;D

First try removing the fuse by the battery and connect the two fuse clips together, if that doesnt work then try jumping the starter solenoid by making both of the contact posts touch by using a long screwdriver and if it turns then you'll atleast know you can get power from your battery. In the picture it looks like the ground terminal on the battery is very loose which could cause power issues also.

Thanks!
I will try that first thing tomorrow and post the results. The ground is a little loose. I didn't tighten it down when I put the battery back in to take the picture. Before I had it tighten when I was having the same problem. I will make sure to keep it tight to avoid future problems.

Also check your brake light switches and whether or not you have a sidestand kill safety. If you can't get the brake light to trigger it won't respond at all. When you turn the key does the fuel gauge go up? Do you get any dashboard display? Here's another thing if it is turning over, check the CDI where you plug it in. That socket tends to retain moisture and it blew out 2 high performance CDIs I had installed.
