I have mirrors with the turnsignals in them . Inside i the turnsignal bulb plus a littal bulb that looks like the clear bulb at the top of a remote that sends a signal to the tv. The only thing i think this could be is the prt that recieves the signal from a cell phone . Anyone hav any idea ? And yes it does have wires running to it and a resister between one of the wires and the bulb.

does it light? Tiny incandecent bulbs like that are T-24 or T-72 (or some other crazy size) Is the resistor a resistor or a diode? Pics help.
If it were an IR emitter, you can see it with the CCD camera cellphone or digital camera, when it is operating. Try it with your TV remote, aim at your camera, and operate buttons, you will see the flashing.

There seem to be various styles of mirrors w/lights in them, but on mine (Roketa MC-04 Aruba/Fiji), there is the tiny incandescent turn signal bulb mounted vertically behind a pointed, yellow reflector/lens, and a tiny little LED mounted vertically just to the outside of the lens which lights up red when the engine is running. Is this what you are talking about?

LED? or "Grain of Wheat" incandesant? (sometimes with colored rubber overcoat) when my speedometer lights were out, I was able to pick up some tiny's of the push-in variety at wally world

Definitely LED. The light output is directional (up), the 'bulb' looks clear until lit (when it shines red), and the output does not fluctuate or pulse at idle the way the incandescent head/tail lights do.

I guess its an led just like Pmatulews pic , it has a resistor in the brown line going to the led. Mine dosent light up. Funny thin is i looked it up and it said the brown line in th mirrors is for the daytime running lights ?

Anyone ever try to take one of the mirrors apart? The screw is behind the glass mirror lol. Of course i busted the mirror trying to pop it out. The black casing holding the mirror dosent pop out , you have to somehow pop the glass out of the casing. I can see if the casing was rubber but its plastic. Lol i had to take it apart to hook the brown wire back up because it fell out.
