I ran 4.5 gram rollers for the last four years and the scooter ran like a crazed scoot on steroids. I mean it really ran hard. After needing a tune-up (flat spots on rollers) I thought I would try the slider weights. I only had a choice of 4 or 5 gram. and it was recommended to get the 4's. It ran good with the sliders but seemed to be lacking the punch I had with the rollers in and mite have lost a little top end. Should I have the same weight sliders as I had with the rollers to get the punch back in the scoot or just go back to rollers?

Two strokes need a precision CVT. New rollars are always better than sliders (everyone has an opinion, right?)

i tried that with mine and lost take off power tried lighter and lost top end, i don't know why, i know everyone says to go a gram heavier, but it didn't end up working for me it seemed when i matched the sliders to the same weight as the rollers it was good, right now i matched them to the rollers with 1500 torque spring and they have been great, they do seem to work smoother than the rollers
