Well last night i took a 3 miles ride forgetting for the first time to manually check oil levels
well sure enough i got 3.5 miles from home and was slowing from 45 to around 30mph to take a turn when my engine stalled out in heavy traffic
(it acted exactly like a blown top end)
So i pulled her over and checked the spark plug cable all that good stuff too no avail
i tried to kick start it a few times also no good, walked it a mile or so and tried to again kick start but it would not fire up so i walked it home and parked it
This morning i went out side and tried again just for kicks and sure enough it fired Right up with no issue i noticed there was a 100% lack of smoke or smell and checked the oil tank
it was Bone dry so i poured a cap full into the gas tank and refilled the oil tank
guys think i have done considerable damage to the piston/rings/cylinder?
main question i am here to answer is
(what causes a oil indicator light to stop functioning and why?, where and how can i replace / fix it?)
