Cant seem to keep headlight bulbs from going out. I've done replaced them with about 5 sets in one year. Could it be the regulator under my front plastic? Mine is the handsome boy style, like the Peace vip model. Also while my scoot was running, I disconnected the harness from the regulator and it kept running. Is this normal? Thanks guys, Randy

Test the voltage at the socket and see what you have (while running),,yes the scoot will run while being un plugged from batt as long as its AC fired it runs(cdi gets charged) off the stator...but that's not healthy for the rectifier.

After installing new bulbs..you MUST wipe them clean with rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover and wipe dry. The tiny traces of oil from our skin and all those that have handled the bulb before we get them...will cause a 'hot spot' on the Halogen Bulb. This will shorten their lifespan dramatically..
