Thank you very much for thinking of me. My tires are 7 years (or more) old so I've been taking corners VERY gingerly. (Especially with the de-icer on the roads. HOLY heck that stuff is slick!!) I'm sure anything will be better than these..LOL. I just noticed that for the most part there are stock tires and then the Kendra's for a little extra. Wondering if the small price is worth it.
*also ice on the roads here and the kendra's look like better traction for that.
Went out to start the scoot at 0400hours to go to work in 27degree weather. Wouldn't start. I've been to busy to rip into it to take pictures of the ignition to replace. Hopefully tonight. Will replace tires after Christmas.

Since I been having problems with the ignition...and it's finally rain season, I started taking the scoot apart to take pictures of the ignition. I asked for help and they wanted detailed pictures to make sure i got the right one since I have no clue what model and all that i have. After a couple of pictures I decided to take the damn thing apart. Maybe keep it as a spare. Here it is all cleaned up. Was really worried putting it back together as I had no idea the exact placement. Weird thing is i tested it with ohm meter and there where 3 separate outcomes. Shouldn't there have only been 2? One on and one off? Anyway after starting to reassemble the whole thing found out it was idiot proof. Everything only lined up one way.. All back together again and works like a charm. Probably should have put some dielectric grease on it.

Hey, I actually RODE mine today!
After nearly a month of 36 degrees and heavy rain, it got up to 50 and bright sunshine! So I took "Minnie Mouse" out for a romp down the freeway, and then to Wally World for groceries.
Sure did feel good to get "in the wind" again!
Ride safe,
Leo in Texas

You can replace it without tools, but it is far from being easy, you have to hand press the clutch to allow the belt to be as far in the clutch as possible, then play with the variator to slide the belt in. I have done this on the side of the road after a belt shredded, but I don't recommend it if you can source the tools to make it properly.

yeah I seen both methods on youtube the toolless method looks like a most excellent way for a fella to mash the piss out his finger thing is id like to put some of the slider weights while im there probly use the same weight or a tad heavier I can get an impact tho I hate borrowing other folks tools but so be it
on another note I got a few items in my ebay cart two of which is a magnetic drain plug set and the sigma6 carb kit
any opinions on that particular product? (carb kit) iknow yall have seen it if not I may can make a link sounds pretty straight in the description?

The wife and I rode to our local ice cream shop for some unneeded calories. We had planned on a longer ride, but there was much to be done.
