On another thread I brought up purchasing this muffler: www.ebay.com/itm/140943878128?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 .
I have unpacked it and dry fitted it on but I was surprised I can see straight through it. I never noticed it in other stock mufflers that I installed in the past. Is this going to be a loud glass pack like mufflers I used as a teen on cars many years ago? I know my wife won't like that. I don't think I can still
return it if I use it. Also I found the manifold bolts loose and noticed a small
area of black soot where it must have been leaking. I also noticed it was
black and sooty when I removed the header pipe from the muffler. Does this
mean it's running rich ? Thanks for any help. GBY
