Just went up to Autozone to see if I could get some gear oil only to find they are closed at midnight. Jeesh, I thought they were open all night....... my wal-mart is closed at midnight too...! There is ONE Wal-mart I do believe, that is open 24 hours, but that was way out of my way.
Riding at night is very relaxing. Who here agrees? ;D

i feel like jumping on my scoot and riding to the casino. if it was the weekend i would be on my way out the door already. with it being a weekday i'm not sure if a poker game will be running at this hour and don't want to get sucked into playing any other game.

Thanks for that. The quality of video is crap but it sounds affordable at 30 quid (don't know what that is in US dollars)
My JVC video camera is awesome. I paid like $200 for it. Its a flip out LCD view camera and I'm not sure I can get it to mount on anything. I saw a mount pack at Wal-mart for $25 but I can take it back if it doesn't work. I may try that. If I can get my JVC to mount and take steady video then that would be ideal, I'm not sure how much you can edit it though. I'd like to speed it up and put music.

i don't know much about it but i do know with the right programs you can make some gr8 vids. steady cam programs exist, not sure which is best but if you use steady cam software with your camera then you probably could forget about getting a new one.

That's true. I just discovered that youtube has a real basic but usable video editing section. You can steady the shaking and add audio. Just not sure if it will do what I have in mind.
My video software that came with the JVC was never easy for me to use. But I'm charging the dang thing AGAIN, and gonna play around and see what happens. Wish me luck! I wanna make cool videos!!!!!!!!!!!lol D8

On a bike with decent lighting night rides are a blast. I added deer whistles for when I ride back from locations in the wilderness. At night you could find yourself with a boar or puma running along side you. Full face helmet with the sheild down is a must. The night spiders will be swinging across the tree lined lanes and can become quite agressive if they get caught inside your helmet.
