Here is a really good one for you all to ponder, I went to register they took my information but I am not authorized to POST , I am ghost member just for the member count(HAHA). I emailed the mod or whatever he is as well as mike and NEITHER ONE RESPONDED( I know why). But they sure where quick to sent me that newsletter using the email I tried to register with(go figure). If I wanted to I can go and register anytime, takes me 5 minutes to change my IP address and email address and come on with some funky name. But for what, I see nothing of value over there that appeals to me and besides his rules and restrictions on the forum are many and some very restrictive and hindering. That is why it is NOT SMART to use your real email address for stuff on the net or sellers that your buying stuff from. Go to your ISP provider and most you can create up to 10 email addresss and if one is getting hit with trash just go and delete that email address and replace it with a new one. Right now i have 6 email addresss. I never use my real email address when buying stuff and what not. All the other ones are throwaway email addresss  . Alleyoop |

And that's easier than managing spam settings on one account? I have 1 account for personal use and one for business. Have had one for 12 years and one for 5 I have no issues with spam and never have...
to each his own I suppose...

From your comments it appears you are a staff member and your only concern is what restrictions and or rules, nothing about why they did not allow me to POST. Like I previously mentioned I KNOW WHY and can pretty much gather who whispered in someones ear, but that is here nor there. So you see there are some hidden rules, does not take a genius to figure that one out. But like I said I don't care about that site so nothing gained nothing lost. Just thought it was kind of funny that they did not authorize me to post with no explanation or respond to my query of why not. No more from me on this subject. Alleyoop |

What happened to me did not happen today or yesterday it happened a few days ago.
Where do you see hostility? Just talking about the goings on and it started with people getting emails when they are not even members. So others chimed in and posted their experience on that site, what is wrong with that.
You feel your being attacked because your staff on that forum. To be a player in different forums without prejudice you have to stay off threads that mention the other forums you belong to in a bad light.
Take me for instance I am an ADMIN on two other forums and when I am on either of them I keep out of post that are complaining about one of them that I am an ADMIN on. I do not defend either of them I just stay off the those threads. You have to do the same otherwise you will get all confused and will make your life miserable.

That spammer can change his address but you still have the same email address. So what happens you get more spam from the same guy or site then you have to block that one and it could go on and on. |
