This is spacer that's on the variator. Their may be about a 16th of a inch difference. will it make much of a difference using the shorter one? Attachments:

My BBK isn't broken in yet so I'm not able to tell as of yet if it's doing anything. No WOT for me. It has been raining all week and looks like more rain coming. It's has put a damper on my break in riding. D8

My variator kit for my 150 came with a shorter variator shaft as well. Not completely sure how much of an improvement it make

A shorter cvt variator spacer will give you a better top in, but remember you have a belt that needs to be checked, the angle and type can make a difference. The smaller (shorter the spacer) the smaller variator with and giving you a bit more room for other adjustments. (a.k.a sliders...) Welcome to world of "De-Restrict" Buy a better CVT belt (or new girlfriend) if you need to, Gates/Brando are the best-- you'r game.

[replyingto=desmerwebb]PCB_GY6%27n[/replyingto]You can run it WOT once in a while you aint gonna hurt it,,break it in like your gonna ride it,,thats what Ive been doing for over 35 years on all my motors,,racing and all,,never had a problem,,and actually the ones I broke in hard ran better and longer than the so called ride it slow break in theory motors For rings to seat properly you have to run that motor harder than you think...
