Does this stuff deteriorate at all? It looks perfectly clean when drained.

I put in mobil 1 full synthetic gear oil and forget about it

I too use Mobile 1 synthetic nut change every 1000miles or so. Get a small oil pump can to put it in the hole.

Does this stuff deteriorate at all? It looks perfectly clean when drained. from what i have read it doesn't need to be changed as often as the engine oil.

In my Honda they recommend gear oil change every 12K miles...lol..for my china scoot I would do it every other oil change just cause its cheap insurance,,and fun to do.

In my old ford mustang I NEVER touched it. I don't think its nearly as important as engine oil.. I'll be doing it on every other occasion or so in the scooter. Just not worried about it
