The headlight on my NC50 went out, and I can't figure out why. I know the bulb is fine because occasionally it will come back on and go off again. I've checked all the connections in the wiring harness and everything is connected. I cleaned all the corrosion with emery board and di-electric grease. All my other electronics work, but my headlight doesn't. I'm terrible with electrical stuff.

A bad bulb will sometime come on and off if the filiment broke at one end instead of burned in the middle. It can flop around and occasional make contact and even stick on for a few minutes to even a day or so.

Well, it was just a bad bulb. the filament was just barely making contact with one of the wire thingies it attaches to so it was flickering on and off.

Good deal. My New Geo Tracker had a bulb like that. Also My Xingyue had a flickering headlight, the contacts on the base have no spring quality, and loosen up over time between heat and vibration. I 'fixed' it several times before I hacked in an H4.
