I have a coffee problem now guys. I'm trying to cut back due to high sugar and cream (fat) intake. And when I do drink it which is still like 3 times a day I am trying to substitute something for sugar. But I dont like the taste. And I'm not sure it is the overall healthier choice. I've tried splenda... It sweeteness the coffee too much and leaves a bad artificial taste in the mouth. The pink packet I havent' really tried yet, I think it contains aspartane. But I do drink a lot of diet cola which contains aspartane. It has no ill effect on me that I know of . I guess I'll ask my dad, he is a doctor. I'm betting he will say don't worry about it. What do you think?

One teaspoon of sugar in a coffee is nothing compared to someone who drinks soda all day...! And try milk instead of cream - I use 2% and it does the job just fine. Once I got used to it, I can't use cream any more, its TOO creamy! lol. 8 o'clock coffee is all I drink (when I make it myself) - whole beans ground right before, and brewed in a french press. A little old lady told me about it and I haven't bought anything else since. Original or Colombian only - I can't STAND flavored coffee! (but a hint of vanilla or coco is ok) Anyone who hasn't used a french press - you must. You will love it. You can make a 30oz espresso with one if you want I feel like lost puppy before I have mine in the morning...

Cameron's makes a wonderful Chocolate Carmel Brownie coffee. I pump it up even more with Swiss Mocha mixed in.

I started having my coffee with milk and sugar, and I try to keep it at one cup per day now... Man, it seems like my metabolism slowed to a snails pace all of a sudden.. I can't eat and drink anything anymore . I gain every ounce of the fat and sugar it seems

well i think i got you all beat i have a 150 dollar espresso machine. I use cafe bustelo the best espresso ever! 4 shots with about equal parts cream and about 2-3 tablespoon of sugar (i know thats a lot but i hate the bitterness) iced and shaken until frothy!

8 o'clock coffee is all I drink (when I make it myself) - whole beans ground right before, and brewed in a french press. Discovered freshly grounded beans with a Bodum burr grinder and the Bodum French Press method about 6 months ago. At home I drink it black. When I'm away from home, and there's only drip coffee, I have to add cream to hide the bitterness. Unlike you, I haven't settled on a favorite brand of coffee yet. I like to experiment each time I'm in need of beans. There's been some I've tasted and won't purchase again, such as GEVALIA. H.E.B. is a supermarket in town and they have a wide variety of beans. I'd guess about 2 dozen choices. I like to try something new each time. Eventually, I'll probably pick a favorite.

domindart. Someday you are just going to have to take the bull by the horns and cut back on that sweet stuff, in the meantime take you coffee BLACK. It wont kill you and it will cut back on the sugar input . I lived a lot of years and just last year I was diagnosed with diabetes .And I thought I was taking care of myself . You have got to take care of yourself man! You don't want to spend the rest of your life with medical problems , I have cut back. I drink about 1-2 cups a day now. I used to be a lot worse. But now I try to take it with milk and a little sugar. I also just got a exercise machine so I hope to loose some of this extra weight I have
