just plain old folders Country Roast or Mcdaniel's French Roast, Love coffee god knows I drink a lot of it, but honestly i have a cheap pallet LOL... Tried Starbucks to me it tasted burnt, so they gave me another one, also tasted burnt to me, so they tried again.... For 5 dollars a cup they want you happy, but it just didn't taste good to me.. But I told them it did so i could leave in peace.. Threw the coffee away as soon as i was out of sight...

Anybody that worked the night shift had to drink coffee, I also needed it for late night study and papers that had to be done. I drink more than I should, have a big mug of it on the way to work every day and a bigger mug on the days off just because I have more time to drink it.
Has to be without the fu fu flavoring or it just ain't a mans drink, either black or with half and half, sugar is for children no ifs ands or butts.
Brands, well I used to get gevalia delivered, dark roasted coffees are the ones that taste like coffee, medium will do. Now days we get a gourmet one at the store that taste just as good as the gevalia did and is a lot cheaper to buy.

I am not picky about brand. Just a little milk and I am happy. Can't stand flavored coffees.

I didn't know that some Wal-Mart's were starting to carry Community Coffee! I got started drinking that brand when I was married to a southern gal and she introduced me to that. I got hooked on the New Orleans style with chickory...I got hooked bad and every time we went back to Louisiana I got a case of the stuff. We split up a few years back but I still have the craving for Community Coffee and it's unique taste. So now I'll have to start really looking close at the coffee shelves at Wally World. I also like a brand I found at the World Market store called Texas Turtle, it is a medium roast & body with a caramel, chocolate & pecan flavors...it doesn't sound good but it is...very good. Oh yea, I drink coffee black without all the "bells and whistles" (sugar and creamer)....I started drinking it black when I was a teen and still 50 years later it's the only way I will. I get a kick out of those that go nuts looking for the sugar or the yellow or blue imitation sugar or creamer if it is not on the counter at work in plain sight.

I didn't see any community coffee at Kroger, where I picked this eight oclock coffee up yesterday. I'm about to have my first cup in 5 minutes. I'll drink it with just a bit of sugar to bring out the flavor.
