I'm visiting my mother right now & brought my scoot. Pulling into the driveway...my stepfather knocked it (and his motorcycle) over! ARRRRRRRRRRGH! One broken body panel...I'm hunting for it.

Man...that sucks! I had a beautiful little Corvair a few years ago, 1966 (I think), white with red interior. A doctor had owned it and had it on blocks for years. I got it with around 28,000 miles. It looked brand new and ran that way too! I loved it. Well...I drove my little car over to my Mom's house for a little visit. My stepfather rolls up with his front end loader tractor, parks it just a couple of feet away from the drivers side of the car, and goes in the garage. He comes back out, and instead of getting on the tractor to start it...he cranks it while standing on the ground. Tractor starts in forward gear, and...yep...SMASH! By the time he got control of the tractor, it had moved the car about three feet and needless to say, the whole side was crushed in...totaled! I was beyond upset! I sold it for parts. Good luck with the scoot!

I always thought that if you love something that much, pass it on to a new life with someone else rather than burying it with you.
