When i lived in Florida i had a vest like this with LEDS built into it that you can either turn on, or flash pattern. I would always wear it at night.

I made mine a little better to see I put LED lights in the groves on the side of my scoot and put a red strip on the trunk and just got one to hook up to the break light to put above the other red one on the trunk you can really see it at night they are only 12in strips but it shines 3ft around the scoot

I could dig a light on the back of the helmet....... can you buy just the light and put it on my current helmet?? You may want to check out Gmax helmets, which is what I have. They have 3/4, full face, and flip front with built in lights in the back. Very reasonably priced. You can get the GM54 flip front like mine for around $130 online. Very good quality as well, don't let the price fool you.

howdy, i just bought the solar (modular) from bilt at cyclegear for 100 bucks. it has the built in sunshade that you can deploy and stow while wearing it. these are usually 200 bucks but 50% off today. i rode home with it and it was light, quiet, and comfortable. i have bounced the scorpion exo off the pavement with my head in it so thought this a good opportunity to replace it(not me head---) . it is silver grey like my piaggio bv350. i think that is quite a good deal since the hci and vega sell for more and don't fit me as well. one week return policy if i don't like it. i bought a jacket from them a couple weeks ago also 50% off. i intend to just stop by every couple weeks just in case---
lotsa miles and smiles to ya ken

I got the Apollo instead as the Solar was a little to close to the face for me even in the XXL. Built in shades and removable liner too but no silver so I went with white. Couldn't bring myself to get the DayGlow Yellow.
The removable liner makes it easy to keep clean by just tossing it into the wash with my jacket. Note that I would only do this with a Front Load washing machine or possibly a Calypso.

My jackets and pants and gloves all have reflective on them already. Except the white leather, which only has the Cortech patch on back, I think.
So I haven't added anything extra. Oh, except the MSF patches to either shoulder of my pink jacket!

I ride a bright-yellow scoot, I wear a hi-vis chartreuse helmet and a black/chartreuse jacket. Visibility is a GOOD thing. And even so, some jackass damn near hit me today! I wear this helmet and this jacket.
