Absolutely. I was scared to death I'd have to do all that work all over again, maybe on a new bike even! But now I'm pretty sure I got all the gaskets that need to go in and all is well I installed the one that came with my bbk kit. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AYRZJPU/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I plan on upgrading to a performance head some time down the line, but for now I wanted to see how it performs and see if it's up to par with the speed limits around here.

dont run it without exhaust gasket. treatland sells stuff i cut out with a hammer, screwdriver tin snips and a sanding drum on a dremel with. no burrs, and i wash it off. get 6 from one sheet 6 b ucks a sheet.
i had a 66cc blew up later ticking, exhaust gasket leak. brand new, warm up. 2 minutes later. i dont know what happened, scratched all to pieces. had other problems. have no idea. might of ran it without the exhaust leak, yea i thik 50 miles then checked.
but, dont run it without exhaust gasket. i didnt know what scratched that ever. but i wont i didnt check after running it with an exhaust leak. did have an intake leak....
no black stuff ending up on your case. thats a good tight non leaking exhaust gasket. no black exhaust stuff covering your case around your exhaust. check the connection occasionally

Now, what do I do about not having the exhaust gasket? Am I in danger of ruining my engine without it? I never had one to begin with, so I'm confuzzled. Yes indeed, you WILL ruin your engine. As with any piston engine: 1. No exhaust gasket will ... 2. Lead to exhaust leak at the header & muffler, and will ... 3. Lead to no backpressure on those valves, and will ... 4. Lead to Valves running hot, and will ... 5. Lead to "burning" (wearing out) your Valves , and it will ... 6. Lead to compression leaks as well as potential ... 7. Valve damage dropping pieces into the piston & cylinder ... then a. Damage piston and scratch cylinder walls ... Just cause & effect ... That's all folks ...

I'll be sure to check it occasionally. I found the exhaust gasket in my old head. It's just a ring of sorts. Thanks for the tips!
Wow, I had no idea it was so severe. It's a good thing I only ran my engine for less than 2 minutes without the gasket. I'm thankful that I found my old one. It was covered in black stuff so I thought it was just part of the old head, but upon closer inspection the gasket ring came out with a little prying.
Thanks for the warning. I'll never run without the gasket again. ;D
