Its going to be tough to run 60 at 6000. You will need to have rpms closer to 7000-7500 to make enough power to run 60.

Whats up im running 15:38 and im hitting 60 at 7000 and about 67 - 68 at 7900 rpms. Ill cruise at 60 just fine my temp is running about 195dgrs when its between 70 and 80 dgrs outside and about 210 when its out . Right now i have great uphill power i have yet to meet a hill fhat i cant go atleast 40 mph up. You will have a hard time reaching 60 at 6000 rpmm and still have the uphill power. And if you r all stock u will never haver the power to turn that high of gears to reach 60. Your power b is at about 7000 to 7500 rpms so dont be worried about running between there . Just allways maintain the maintenance . Always check oil level before each ride . Running low will destroy the life of the stock engine , or in that case any engine. An oil temp gauge will inform of many problems before something bad happens.

Its going to be tough to run 60 at 6000. You will need to have rpms closer to 7000-7500 to make enough power to run 60. +1 It takes nearly everything for a 150cc to get to 60MPH. You need to be in the torque band or else you won't even be able to get to 60. Lower RPM's are only good to save on gasoline, if you're NOT in need of fast take offs, hill climbing, or high top speeds. There's a sweet spot somewhere. If you install too tall gears, your top speed will go down. Too small and it will go down as well. Since you want to go 60, and need faster take off / hill climbing, I can only hope you have a fuel injected scoot, or have a very lightweight body and scoot. Most (stock) Chinese 150's reach only 55-58MPH. With some tweaking you might be able to get 65 out of them.

Thats right if your hitting 60 mph on a stock 150 your speedo is prob incorrect.

Gy6fandan nice to see you again i havent seen to many from the old site. Im not sure about the old info , but some does pop up if searching on google. I kinda miss the old site. No offense to the 50cc's but i dont like having to pick thru the posts to find the 150 posts. And it sucks having to start over as a newbe. Lol
