I was wondering about that one, bender. Thanks for the heads up. I'll wait for the library to get it.

Saw "Unfinished Business" with Vince Vaughn. I liked it but be advised its full of adult humor. Its also about how tough it is the be a good husband and successful businessman. Much of it is filmed in Berlin but alas, no scooter scenes.

Now this is another thread I can really get into . I'm a big movie person , I don't really go out to the theater to what movies bit I usually buy all the newer blu -rays when they are released " if they are my type " . I'm into SciFi , comedy, some action, and horror flicks. I can watch a drama now and then , but SciFi is probably my favorite . some of my favorite movies include , Donnie Darko , Lord of War , and Abraham Lincoln vampire Hunter. The most recent movies Ive really enjoyed are , John Wick , Gone Girl , and Night Crawler. I was disappointed by " Lucy " , it started out pretty good but went down hill after that . " Fury " was a pretty good movie . I started a blu-ray collection about 2 yrs ago , and I'm up to over 300 blu-rays now . [/URL . Some are trilogy's and some like the harry potter collection has up to 8 movies in one . I'm always waiting for a good new movie.

I saw "Insurgent", the sequel to Divergent. Faction friction continues. Still a very good commentary on how we label and group people.

Downloaded "Lucy", the story of a gal that could use 100% of her brain. I felt the main theme of the film was our myopic desire for technological advancement. My wife took away something different. She looked at Lucy as being a modern story of a Messiah. I'm not sure I buy the Messianic theme, but looking back, I can see a few parallels. I'm gladI didn't pay to see it at the theatre.

Same here , when I saw the previews I thought " looks like it has some real potential ", but after watching it , they really blew that one . great plot , the beginning was OK , but after that it went straight down hill . I hate when it seems as if they just throw a movie together just to make some money. There are so many movies that have great plots but have no real guidance when producing them.

JOHN WICK was a really good movie , so was NIGHTCRAWLER , both are worth buying on blue-ray. Of course I mentioned them already but they were really good. Its hard to come by really good flix these days.

An oldie but goodie--Ten Commandments!
Yes, it was my traditional Easter annual watching of the TC. Sat there thinking, the fx really do hold up pretty well against what they do today. And you just can't replace having hundreds of real live extras plus dozens of sheep and geese and real horses pulling chariots. Computer generated just don't cut it.
I'd love to see this as intended on the big screen, instead of a tv screen.

Cecil B.DeMille truly stimulated the economy during production of his epic films. I don't know if we will ever see movies made on that scale again.

Downloaded Hot Tub Time Machine 2. It had funny moments, but most of it was dirty, gross out humor. The end was really funny. I thought it was good enough to download.

Saw "Hot Persuit" at the theatre with Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara. I thought is was worth the money. Its definitely worth a download or rental. It was more of a comedy than "Thelma and Louise". I expect a sequel.

She was like " do u know who I am ? " it was all caught on camera , lol. Most Hollywood actors are idiot liberals . i hate when I see an actor or actress I actually like doing movies with guns , killing , and what not , then come out later against everything they make money off of . Don't get me wrong . I believe everyone has the right to stand for what they believe in " even though I may not agree " , but a hypocritical liberal Is the worse.

Saw Avengers: Age of Ultron at the theatre. For me, it was like "I Robot" told with the Avenger characters. It was entertaining and it was fun to see the Harley Davidson Live Wire (e-motorcycle) in action.

So bender, is it $$-worthy and needs the big screen of the theatre, or will it do fine on tv when it's out on dvd?
And hasn't anyone seen Fury Road yet? Seriously??

If you like action movies, see the new Avenger movie at the theater. There are a lot of things taking place simultaneously and I think you will miss some of it on a television screen. I have not been a big fan of past Marvel movies, but I liked this one.
