I see coupious amounts of movies with my Dad lately so I thought I'd start a movie thread where we can chat about the flicks. I saw two movies last night with Pops. First was Now you see me, the magic show / monies movie Secondly saw After Earth which was pretty good but ended kinda abruptly. The first flick was okay.... I didn't follow very well but if a plot has too many angles and intacracies I never can follow the film. See any movies lately? post up!!  |

I watched "The Sorcerer and the White Snake last night
Great action packed fantasy with stunning visuals and a touching story
I highly recommend it

saw the new Fast 6 movie last weekend it was perty good looks there will be a 7th in the series

Don't see "After Earth", starring Will Smith. Will Smith doesn't do much in it and his role is not the usual daring, witty character.

Saw After Earth, it was cool but ended all of a sudden for me.....Needed more monsters and fight/ (near )death scenes

howdy, yup, went last week to see the new star trek. by family aggreement we get together for any new star trek. entertaining but i don't get the tolerance for defiance of regulations in the military. certainly lots of special effects and it's interesting to see such battle action and all the injury sustained is something you cover up with a bandaid.

I don't get into star trek much, neither does Pops but we went to see it due to the action. That said, Pops enjoyed it more than I did.

I saw the star trek movie and would say it is worth seeing but see it in 2D don't spend the extra for 3D.
Now you see me is a good one to see, not a remake of anything and you will never guess the ending.
After Earth, no Will Smith is not in his normal role I don't think it is a waste of time but see it at the cheap ticket time.
