Hey wheelbender, I actually played "spot the Piggy" when I went to Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. Of course there were scooters all over (filmed in India after all), but finding the Piaggios (including, I believe, an Ape!) was fun.
And the movie itself was sweet. Nothing earth-changing, but just a nice time-passer.

[Saw "Secret Life of Walter Middy" ......with Ben Stiller. It just opened in theaters yesterday. Lots of fun..I enjoyed it, my wife and daughter like even better than me.] -I saw it on DVD and liked it. A guy that has lead a boring life breaks out. My wife is a big Ben Stiller fan. I'm afraid I am old school, preferring the Stiller & Meara act. I expected my parents to act like them.

Really alley? They're remaking Once...West? Hope they keep that gorgeous music score!
Meanwhile, I'm waiting for Godzilla reviews to find out if it lives up to my expectations. And if so, if it's worth IMAX or not.

I decided against Godzilla in the theatre. I got to thinking, and the Godzilla movie I saw in the theatre stunk. But the ones I grew up seeing on tv were wonderful in their schlockiness.
But I did just see Malificent yest. Go see it if you have any fondness whatsoever for Disney's Sleeping Beauty. I'm just not sure that 3d added enough to the viewing experience. But AJolie is certainly worth the price of admission!

I don't want to see another Godzilla movie unless it has an all star cast including, Mothra, Rodan and Gaddora. It would be nice to see Godzuki too. Shurely he is grown up by now.

Good one, SylvreKat! I liked that rocket powered turtle but could not remember his name.

It's sort of embarrassing to admit, but I've got the plastic Gamera "doll". When I used a desktop Mac, he stood on my monitor, protecting me from viruses and stuff. I've missed him since going LapMac.
If they made a stuffed Gamera doll, I'd buy that, too.
I wish they wouldn't update classic monsters. I've seen the new Gamera and am NOT impressed. Sometimes the man in the rubber suit really IS best!

When my oldest son was around 3 or 4 years old. his imaginary friend was Godzilla (but his Godzilla was the size of a human). When we got in the car to go somewhere, we had to make sure we didn't leave without Godzilla. You can't make this stuff up.

I died laughing at "22 Jump Street"
Same as the last with new jokes, and they make light of it the whole time!
