I posted a thread like this long ago on the old scootdawg forum but I never got a reply, as far as I know. I know this has been answered somewhere before, but I'm posting anyway What app do you use to test your GPS scooter speeds? I'm currently using Ulysse's speedometer for Android OS and it's giving me buggy readings like 57mph when my speedo reads 30mph.

I use a true GPS, it is a Garmin Quest that is waterproof and works well on all my bikes.

For mountain biking I use MapMyRide. Very accurate and works good for the scoots too

I do use a Garmin GPS but haven't got it out yet this year. In the mean time I use my Android phone and run My Tracks. I note my fastest speedometer indication, and then check the statistics when I get off at the end of my ride. 60mph on the Znen speedo is only 49 per the app.

So what device are you going to use the app on to track speed? I've been using my Nexus 7 7" tablet with built in GPS. It's the 32gb model. Lately Ulysse's speedometer has been telling me that my top speed is like 74mph and such, so I've been looking around to see which are the best apps and who uses what with the best results.

Hi I use a Garmin Zumo 660 LM Take care and ride safely dear friend Yours Hank Jeesh, that's really fancy, Hank! My tablet only cost me $250 to use GPS, but I don't think it's as accurate as yours is, can't get as good a signal, and doesn't offer lifetime map updates. But some of these apps are pretty neat. Though there is the trouble of trying to figure out how to mount a 7" tablet with the wind... I was thinking velcro, but I don't know.
