hey whats up riders. i got my hoka power up kit yesterday and some other parts. i40.tinypic.com/e5gu4w.jpg i was working for about 20 hours straight mostly because i had to go back and forth to stores getting tools i didnt know i needed and some problems with parts. anyways i have a few questions and pics. the mikuni oil pump i44.tinypic.com/vy8474.jpg which i have not put in yet because i didnt get the flywheel puller in the mail till this afternoon and i was beat from working. installed the bbk everthing went great. until i got to the reed intake and carb. had to make a special pipe to the reed intake because the way my bike is designed the intake is actually faceing the opposite direction. i40.tinypic.com/35ibvbd.jpg got everthing running and put jus the bucket back on and took it out. i40.tinypic.com/54dl5d.jpg since i have a long case the variator didnt fit so i still need a perf. variator and some weights. the performance was outstanding i could only hit about 40mph but thats probably because the weights and 2000k springs wich i will swap tomorrow with some 1000k i got too. hoped you guys like it. does anyone know a good tuning manual for oko carbs or any suggestion because i had a little bogging.

today i adjusted the throttle and it died wont start back up. battery is pretty dead so i can only kick start. have been running with choke on before and taking it off made it die. any advice. it was getting fuel in fact it was eating gas quite quickly.

Did you install a larger main Jet? Did you move the clip down on the jet needle yet? I'd say, put the throttle back the way it was (throttle cable I presume), and start working with the jetting. If you have to run it with the choke on, you need bigger jets/richer mixture.

i dont get the video. what are you doing? is that it idling before you give it gas, then after you let off the throttle, it runs like that? is yo8ru choke stuck? throttle cable hung? was the throttle grip, pulled back? stuck?

Yes, your right the jet is to small if you cut off all the air and it barely idles. Alleyoop

You may have to pull the jet's out and read the numbers on them. when replacing jets, larger number equals larger jet. The needle is a little backwards though, larger number equals larger jet, but also equals leaner mixture. To figure out my jetting, I had to pull the jets and take a look...
