Well we are down to the wire since you have a new CDI and COIL. Now if it is the stator just get both usually the stator will come with a new pick up coil. If it is just the Pick up coil that will save you a lot of work and not need to take the flywheel off. Good luck and hope it is the Pick Up Coil. Alleyoop

Well this doesn't look good. The pick up sensor which was a red white wire read .40 volts ac and the stator which was the black red wire read 21 volts ac. Now to find out which stator I need.

I had been cranking the engine quite a bit with the electric starter so I gave it a full charge before I tested the stator and pick up.

the .4acv from the pulse coil is good , the 21vac is low . I would think the stator is bad . You might think about pulling the spark plug and redoing the readings it will spin faster with the spark plug removed .

Ok, did voltage checks with the plug out and they were the same.

That's what I figured. How do I determine which one I need?

you will need to remove the fan cover the fan the flywheel , then you will be able to see the stator .

Now for the next question. I was looking for a flywheel puller and seen there were a few different ones for the gy6 engines. How do I determine which one to order?

Do I need a 24 mm or a 27mm flywheel puller?

Finally got my stator removed. It is 6 poles. Now how do I measure the bolt hole spacing, if I measure from outside to outside of the holes it looks like 50mm.
