I had recently replaced the intake manifold on my scooter and noticed that my fuel efficiency had decreased afterwards. I opened her back up to see if I could find any obvious problems (I am very new to scooter maintenance) and I found a small hose not attached to anything. I have no idea where it came from or where it should be attached. Does anyone have an idea? The scooter is a GY6 (2008 Vento Phantom). Thanks in advance.

its probably the fuel overflow hose that goes on the side of the carb

Kind of looks like the piece of hose coming off the carb that is for overflow. You can see it here, even though it looks a little different...
