Just got my BMS Heritage 150, hooked up the battery and the headlight works (won't go into high beam), signals, alarm. But when I try to start, nothing at all. Tried with key, and with remote start. No sounds that I can hear. Haven't taken off plastics yet but wanted to know what to look for. Fuse is good. Just wanted to start it to make sure it would, before I did my PDI. Any info would be great.

Tried the kickstart and nothing at all. Didn't kick it very hard because I have read of others breaking it. But no sounds at all, just turning the motor.

Are you holding down the brakes?
You have to hold the brakes to start the scooter.

Yep held the brakes. But it also has a remote start which starts it without holding the brake and it isn't working either. Kill switch is on run....etc. Horn doesn't work either. Not sure if it has to be running for the horn to work though. Took off front panel and check everything I could see as far as connections are concerned. Not sure where the starter coil is, followed the positive cable until it went under the motor. Haven't taken off plastic around that area yet. It is like there is no power going to the starter, and like I said I tried to kickstart it and it acted as if there was no power, it just rotated the motor quietly. Not a mechanic but I worked in a maintenance shop for a production facility for 9 years in the parts/supply room so I got some sense of things but have no real hands on experience. Want to try the coil with a screw driver like I have seen some do, but am unsure of what to look for and where. Believe these things have a gy6 engine. Think I found the plug but not sure because I have never seen a boot for one on these scooters and this one appears to be plastic if it is, but if it isn't I don't want to break something.

Check fuses also can you find the solenoid? It should be easy if you follow the large positive wire coming from the battery see if it start if you jump the 2 points.

Only found 2 fuses, one inline from the positive side of the battery and one blade fuse by the headlight going into a box. Looked ok from what I could see. Here is a pic of fuse. Attachments:

And lastly I notice some extra positive boots. I know these guys have unused connections, so I should assume that is what these are. Attachments:

Kind of a large guy and have trouble getting under the scooter. But the positive goes kind of under from what I can see. Will have to work on it tomorrow if I can get under there to check the coil.

Those extra POSITIVE BOOTS may go to the SOLENOID. One should be the RED WIRE that is on the Battery and the other one should be coming from the STARTER and both should hook up on the SOLENOID for your electric start. Also see that white plastic fuse holder on the red wire hooked to the battery, get a 12V LIGHT TESTER they are couple of bucks and TEST each SIDE of the FUSE and see if there is juice on both sides of the fuse. Those fuses MAY look good but could be bad on the ends which you cannot see and no voltage will go to the KEY Switch. Alleyoop

I'm with alleyoop those are your solenoid wires I don't believe you have any power to your starter

Also you don't want live wires hanging around in there. Look for a little round box with 2 studs and nuts on it those wires go there I bet. Down by the engine about the length of those wires from the top usually on the right side...

Think you're right. Also found the signal wires unplugged. Problem is it seems that it either had the solenoid taken out or it was never put in. With the seat being unbolted and the bolts messed up, I almost wonder if some one grabbed it to put on another scooter that needed one and just left it. Saw pics of what is suppose to look like and can't find it. Thought I saw somewhere online that BMS usually has them mounted toward the top but I could be wrong. Wish I had a pic of the Heritage model to compare to. But haven't found a good internal shot.

Found this video which pretty much proves it is gone: My frame is just like this one and the place this one is mounted has nothing there. Just two ears. Nasty phone call coming I believe. Dealer PDI my butt.
