I needed a belt a while back and all my dealer had in stock was a kingrec belt. He said they were supposed to be better than Gates. Right..... 250 miles later it didn't just break..... When I took the CVT cover off I found this.... dust and string.... Gates or nothing from now on.

If the clutch pully is wobbling all over the place worn out it doesn't matter what belt you use it is toast. So check your pulleys for wear b4 you go belt crazy. When a belt screeds at 250 miles something else is wrong. I used to think only Gates PL30507 or Bando was good enough, but if the goal is to see how far they will go then maybe that idea is sound. But what I found is belts run best new and thick, once they get down to 17mm they slow up. Although you can still run them 2000 miles more, what's the point. So I go with Elcheapo and expect 1000 miles per belt. These things are like new when I take them off or out of service, then I give them away to my scooter friends who never have a spare. Ha Ha This is what I got for $6 each. Yeah for Cheap Azz Belts YeaH!!!!!!!!
