I have a 2012 renegade50 49cc I have a BBk A9 cam 20mm carb, new CDI,new coil, I had problems with the head gasket had to have a tin one to get clearance for the timing chain ended up everything was put together fine. When i started it it ran fine got about 10miles on it and it would start and run untill it idled for a couple minutes then it would stall and wouldnt restart till aprox 10 to 15 minutes later thats all it would do, so i thought it was the cdi installed a new one with the orange coil from scrappy its AC not Dc it ran approx 15min then did the same thing i checked for spark it was ok was getting gas ok checked the kill switch its ok took the fuel shutoff and bypassed it it did the same thing put on the old carb same thing checked everything i can think of it will run great on the stand or driving untill u come to an idle then shut off and not run till it sets for approx 15min help me need some new ideas of what to check

This is not to mock you, this is to get you help. Your post is unreadable. I have a 2012 renegade50 49cc. I have a BBk A9 cam, 20mm carb, new CDI, and a new coil. I had problems with the head gasket. I had to have a tin one to get clearance for the timing chain.
When i started it it ran fine until I got about 10miles on it. It would start and run until it idled for a couple minutes then it would stall and wouldn't restart till approximately 10 to 15 minutes later. That's all it would do. I thought it was the cdi, so I installed a new one with the orange coil from scrappy. Its AC not DC.
It ran approximately 15 minutes, then did the same thing. I checked for a spark and it was ok. It was getting gas. I checked the kill switch and it's ok. I took the fuel shutoff and bypassed it, and it did the same thing. I put on the old carb on and it was the same thing.
I checked everything I can think of. It will run great on the stand, or while driving, until I come to an idle. Then it shuts off and won't run till it sets for approx 15 minutes.
Please help me. I need some new ideas of what to check.
Maybe replace the fuel enricher? They are cheap and would make sense if it is only working for about 15 minutes. That is about the time it takes for them to open up. But then again, you said you changed out the carbs, so maybe not.

Sounds like CLASSIC valves are to tight and not sealing after they get hot and it is loosing compression. That is why the 10-15 or so minute wait for it to start again after they cool off and seal. Alleyoop

I have no idea what the main jet size is it ran fine with the same jet with the same setup the valves are at 004 i checked them
droping the float will give it more gasoline right?
I tryed spraying gas into the carb and it wouldnt start ---pulled the plug a few times and it wasnt wet and looked normal

Hasn't got anything to do with the MAIN JET BRO, the MAIN JET has squat to do with starting.
RE-CHECK your valves BRO, they are not set right and SET THEM WHEN THE MOTOR IS STONE COLD otherwise they will be set wrong. Alleyoop

I agree with scootnwinn and domindart.
By the way, good to see you around these parts, scootnwinn.

Well its not the valves. when it quits i found that if I spray carb cleaner is the vacum line going to the intake it will start and run for awhile.
I was looking at the enrichener and is it suppose to have power all the time or part? and where does it get its power from??

The enrichener should have power to it all the time.
It's basically a slow moving solenoid. You can test it by taking it off and hooking it directly to the battery, note the needle position, wait fifteen minutes, and see if it has moved.
Where it is getting power from? I'm sure you want more of an answer than the "battery or stator". So, I don't know how to answer that part.
