[replyingto=alleyoop]alleyoop[/replyingto]Good info..! But funny...cause one day out of curiosity I opened one to see what was in it..cause I imagined it would be 4 cells to make 12 volts...that were a lot more huge in size than the 'D' cell batteries.. Nope I was wrong.

I tore at least one of those apart when I was a kid, of course that was 45 yrs ago. No AA batteries in those back then.

Doesn't always work, believe me. Some of these packs have: 1- Inferior batteries 2- Soldered batteries (so each cell is soldered to the next)
Better to buy 2 sets of rechargeable batteries.

Only the VERY top layer of batteries needs to be wire up not the bottom layers of batteries, That is why you see him cutting the wires when he took the top off:D Alleyoop

Same here..back in the day when we were kids..the 6v's just had a huge hunk of carbon or something... But alleyoop is right..the new ones are different. So see how much better kids these days have..vs what we had back in the day?...spoiled brats. they don't even have to smack their TV sets anymore to stop the vertical or horizontal scrolling...just to watch Gilligans Island in black and white like we did..

howdy, yup i rememberize when we lived on the farm and had the tv in the wellhouse cause it was the onliest place it would work at all. Dad called it "shadows and dirge music". later when star trek started, we had to do something that was work while watching it cause there was work to be done. i churned a lot of butter watching captain kwirk doin' this or that. then going out to check the electric fence or something. by the way, i discovered it is not cool to piss on the electric fence. try it if you don't believe me. lotsa miles and smiles to ya ken

I once said..."ahhhh..my arm is getting tired..I gotta put it down".... he said.."Not right now yer not..you are busy learning patience and discipline"... Never did pee on an electric fence....but ya know a hogs testicles stick way out back near their butt..about 10-12 inches out....occasionally they would back their nads into the fence.. and squeal like . I used to go cross eyed just watching it happen..thinking..."Now that's gotta hurt"

I tried that and it did not work its a hokes. It probably depends on : 1- if there's electricity on the wire 2- If you're standing on dry solid ground with rubber boots, or on wet moist soft soil with sneakers. I know to feel the electricity in an electric wire, and you are standing on wet moist soil; all you got to do, is take a large, wet reed of grass, and touch the wire with it. it'll give you a partial feeling of if the wire is electrified or not. You could also just grab the wire with 2 hands; and get hurt; or piss on it, or try crossing over it bare butted with your balls touching it :-) It'd probably be an interesting experience! I wonder if there will be any fireworks from that!
