so that is stopping you from riding a 150cc , don't you need a class "M" for 100cc's ?

John Hi John Now why would you go and say that , a lot of us like are small scoots and dont want to go with larger ones The op asked about what type of performance gains he could expect not if he should get a new larger scoot OP your low end torque will be better, acceleration better and she will be able to hold her present topend speed easier, your top end may not change much over what your stock engine could produce unless you change your main gearing and fine tune the cvt , roller weights clutch and torque springs and maybe a performance variator and clutch to take advantage of the new power its producing Take care and ride safely my friends Yours Hank

Top speed won't be much higher than before but you'll get there way faster and hill climbing greatly improved, the jet seems to small for that set up i usually run - jets for that kit and have the people message the seller so he sends a . A 150cc seems a waste of money at least in my opinion to slow to ride on the 65-70 mph highways but still have to have plates insurance and a motorcycle license, no thanks, if i have to do that guarantee i will be rolling something over 500cc's

What i've found on my scoots and all the other big bore kits i've done from 47-52mm kits with all the bells and whistles the 50cc scoots with me on it weighing 190 lbs top speed was 48 gps mph max, mine didn't go over 50 mph until the upgear, so for me at my weight with stock gearing as fast as the 50cc scoots will go are 48 mph gps. gears + power to pull them = higher top speed

Thanks, I also know that the heavier rollers increase the top end, what do u recomend for more top end? What i;m aiming for is keeping the 50cc base but making it as fast as possible. What else can i do to greatly improve the top end? thanks sean

i dont go by that heavier weights make the scoot faster thing i tune my weights to stay in the scoots powerband which for me creates the most power and speed
