Hi Jmho but dual shocks seem to last longer and the ride is more stable Ive ridden scoots that use both types and like the dual setup better Take care and ride safely Yours Hank

My t3 rides better than my cy50a with a single shock but the t3 has 12 inch wheels too

You will probably see a decrease in weight capacity in one spring scooters. Not to be confused with a monoshock design though.

Dual shock is more stable and usually has a better weight capacity. Dual shock also gets you a right side swing arm extension which better supports the rear axel and provides a more stable mounting for the muffler, tire hugger, etc.

Millsc that was an impressive scooter . Some single rear shock scooters like a TaoTao ATM i had were wimpy . My Magnum has a handsome boy body with monoshock and rides quite well . I rode on the back of a 150 with the same body and it would bottom out sometimes . My Echarm has dual shocks and rides very good alone or with a passenger . If you want to upgrade your rear shock look at this nitrogen ( most are oil filled ) shock here at the very bottom of the page www.scrappydogscooters.com/50cc_2stroke_Performance.html

I like the thunder scooter, not gonna get it since i have two fully modded scoots now and my t3 has only 300 miles on it with 12inch wheels and dual shocks, the t3 does ride smoother at higher speeds than my cy50a, was a blessing in disguise the guy wrecked with it bringing it to me for a big bore kit im glad i have it now

The larger wheeled scooters do ride and handle way better than those with 10s for sure

The larger wheeled scooters do ride and handle way better than those with 10s for sure With 15" or better you are there. Mine is solid even past mph on its 15" cruiser/sport bike tires. Not a 50cc I know but bigger is better when talking wheel diameter.

Hi Smaller wheels are more nimble and agile, larger wheels more stable and the ride smoother With that said i love riding them all from 10 all the way up to 13 inch wheels, any larger and they ride more like a motorcycle then a scoot imho Take care and ride safely Yours Hank
