I would replace the carb since your is most likely to be sealed and not able to adjust the needle clip . Many have the airfuel screw covers with some ( unsure on yours ) and I have seen some with rivets on the bowl instead of screw to access the jets and float . Carbs can be as low as 30 dollars . I had a ATM that was a secret 63 and blew it up . I put on an Air Sal 50mm or 82cc BBK and used a mainjet . Climate and altitude are contributing factors so what works for one may not for another . I prefer to run a hair rich rather than just on it to avoid being lean at top RPMS . A jet kit is a great investment as the extra jets will great to have on hand in case you change the exhaust or airfilter and thus need to buy more jets like this kit for example enviromoto.ecrater.com/p/4129835/naraku-main-jet-set-gy6-50 . you may want to test diff roller weights as CVt tuning really works and is cheaper and easier than installing a BBK . With a new BBK I would get a new Gates or Bando brand belt as the old one may not last long if worn as a BBK has more power . It is better to replace it to be safe instead of having it break and damage other components and less risk of having the rear wheel lockup while going down the road and wrecking . Here is a plug chart to compare yours with to get an idea on how the jetting is www.4secondsflat.com/plug_chart.html Running lean will damage the piston

With a BBK it is also a good idea to use a larger idle jet . My 2T had a 40 IJ and would idle high at times but with a 45IJ its much better . With jetting plan on testing and retesting in order to get it fine tuned .
I played with a few sizes of MJs on my 2T until it got to where I liked it . Have patience and its worth the time testing so yu can enjoy riding it once its sweet .

Airbox or open air filter around for airbox around for open air filter no need to change the idle jet unless it acts up

is too big for a 47mm 80cc kit should be around - with an open air filter gotta check and see but ive done tons of bbk's and for that kit its the norm
