Happy as a lark right now, scoots been down since i got it. Performance Cdi and coil came today as I ws eagerly awaiting the mail carrier to come by. Changed the old forr the new, crossed my fingers and turned the key on and hit the button. Didn't even make a full revolution and vroom. My fiance said oh my god you look like a kid that just got that new bicycle for chhristmas the way I was smiling. ;D Took it for a test ride and couldn't stop lol. I went down to walmart and utozone to pic up a few cleaning. supplies to clean it up and make it look half decent. Thinking about riding down by the lake. Happy scooting everyone! Attachments:

Could you tell any difference in performance over the old coil?

Will do dave, looks like rain here so the cleaning up will have to wat for a pretty day. The CDI and Coil I went with is like day and night, starts faster and runs a lot smoother than before. The hotter coil helps with burning off access fuel and seems to help with overall performance. I love the CDI's performance because. it has an advanced timing curve and no rev limit and gave me about four mph more top speed on the flats. Happy scootin everyone Tony

I have the same cdi and coil. Same performance just starts up easier. Top end still 55-57mph
I had a better improvement adjusting the engine valves!
But I got the stock in the frame just in case.

I have the same CDI and coil, Performance is no different than stock overall but they are super cheap and I keep the stock ones under the seat in case of problems

Good going!
I'm running the same coil and CDI in my 150, and it improved my performance too! Now, just DON'T GET IT WET!!! LOL! I fried my last one in the car wash and had to push it 2 miles home.
I also found an iridium plug worked REALLY well with these upgrades... Smoother idle, faster starts, etc. I even had to slow my idle down a bit after installing the plug.
Ride safe, and enjoy the ride!
