I put a 94 needle jet ( idle jet) in and a main jet in the piece of shiitake carb and it flies I weigh 215 and no power loss up hill I can actually increase speed uphill!!! Running great I can't wait to do my cvt with a 2. final gear ratio. This is going to be balls to the wall. Fantastic!!! now you will find some mph in a properly tuned CVT. pay attention to your belt climb..

Those pic are great and thats funny about the blowout. You gotta love it. I'm really having a great time learning about my scoot. I'm trying to watch my wallet and I'll probably end up spending unnecessary money but the knowledge is worth more to me!!

I put the hi- perf exhaust back it sounds awesome I love it. It sounds like a Harley downshifting gears lol. Now Im happy with that thanks. Now I'm leaking oil like really bad and I cant tell where it's coming from the oil is everywhere from the ride I took a good climb up hill steady speed no loss of power actually I can increase speed uphill. Now I'm pissed about but thank God I made it home without any damage to the scooter.

Now check for proper venting of the crankcase for the oil spewing.. that all it is at the rpm you running at. I vented mine in two places with check valves and they failed on a short beer run and oil was everywhere I was lucky no damage as I use a high end synthetic. nursed her back home on dino oil and when I changed the oil I couldn't get any amount in before it Pucked back at me, that when I discovered the Fake check valves failed to vent properly and change my whole setup...

yea over 6000 rpm and oil starts to really make a mess out the valve cover vent if you don't have an oil trap

" Whats up with this Chinese anyway it's all cheap junk"
Oh, calm down! It's cheap, sure, but that's why you're riding a scooter and not a Harley! Even Harley & BMW parts are made in China, and China knows how to make quality. The Chinese gy6 system is what makes scooting possible. Just compare gy6 prices with Vespa prices.

Leave the carb alone except for rejetting to a "# ninety-five" (approx). A bigger carb just makes it run worse, your air cleaner won't fit, and your factory carb is a better product than most aftermarket carbs. The performance gain isn't worth the hassle.
PS: not sure why when I type a number for a carb jet, I get a smiley face. That's not helpful! I notice other posts struggling with this, too. Not only a pain in the rear, but the result isn't helpful to anyone.

The oil vent on the top of my valve cover hooks up to my carb but I have bigger problems now I disassembled the valve cover cause it seemed to be leaking from there my engine bolts were never properly torqued so I decided to use my new tourque wrench the handle is so long it felt like nothing and snapped off a engine stud and nowhere to be found online. They are the 1p39qmb and they are longer than the others so now I'm up the creek . i was going to try scrappydog but they have pretty much all negitave reviews so no way. The one I snapped is about 7.25" long the same for the 150cc but can't find them either. I was so happy now I'm pissed I should get the company that made that wrench to find engine studs and pay for the replacement lol ya right!!!

I would speculate you used a Foot Pound Click type torque wrench instead of a Inch Pound Beam Type? My Click type ftlb wrench does the same thing, backing her down to a few ftlbs other than you have to know the feel I don't think it very accurate under 10ftlbs. backing off a ftlb Click type torque wrench to its minimum a inexperienced person will not feel the wrench do its click and the person keeps fighting till she breaks something. Ive seen this many times, there was a kid on the forum that said he had such good feel he didn't need a torque wrench then he went a got a foot pound click type ftlb click type wrench to use on a 50 and didn't feel the click and snapped off studs then blamed the Wrench, it was the first time in his life he ad used one and obviously with his good feel missed it If you have almost never used a Torque wrench buy the Beam type the first I think I have a source for the studs your looking for, stay tuned

Here are the best high quality Studs you can buy. shop.martinmopeds.com/Taida-Miscellaneous-Parts_c35.htmSomething I should have mentioned from when you first started is replacing all the Studs to fine quality Taida. There just love $16, and well worth the price The OE studs a very poor and remember when torqued we are simply Stretching the stud, we can only Stretch the hardware so many times before its junk. Also when those studs are re-torqued and over torqued you are now pulling the studs up from the top of the block and then upsets that lanes and continual base gasket leaking problems. In the bigger motor engine guru world they usually use a Stretch Gauge on the thing like Rod bolts, the also measure the Stretch of the when the engine comes back down, very easy way to tell if a Small Blcok Chevy was Over-Reved is measure the length of the rod bolts. Ive seen several on this forum with 50's that have been taken apart many times and they all start to have sealing problems with the Base or Head Gasket, and the think the cure is to keep tightening them and Snap she goes. Personally I wont reuse any hardware that needs torqued

Here is a Beam and Click type if your not familiar with them. My old inch pound beam is also in Newton Meters.
