Keep it rubber side down and ride safe! Thanks. I have to go get her and soon. I like the Powermax but I am also not secure about long..long runs with it. My disability has me tied up with doing to much. So gas and go now is what I need. No reliability issues. Heedehcheenuh Chuck D Ride on.....

She is here. Midnight blue with the metal sparkle. Looks black but she is not. Rode home 53+ miles and not even a 1/3rd tank of fuel. Hit rev limiter a few times but she can hold 55-60mph smooth and up hills. Did not have any issues with comfort and with the wind blowing I was not bounced around like I thought I would be. Ohhh I am a happy rider/camper now. I will look into the variator mods to bump up the speed so not to hit the rev limiter on those shorts hills lol. First thought it was som weak gas but then I remembered ...

What do you mean by "Cam Ratios"? I'm a sbc type of guy and have only referred to Rocker Arm Ratio's or Rod to Stroke Ratio's. Maybe just some different verbiage, I've never heard of a cam ratio. I haven't seen any alternative Rocker Arm's with different ratios on the market, would be cool to get another 10% Cam from just a Rocker Arm Change You know how the cams can come in 3 levels (I call ratios) Low rpm torque/low lift - mid range torque/little higher lift- then the good old muther thumpers (as they call them now) Saturday Night Specials Very top end torque/very high lift. Yes I know about setting the right cam up with the degree wheel etc etc. But I have always asked people what they wanted. Low- mid or top end. Then work around the weight and gear ration to get what they needed. Shoot the Pontiac Sunbird and Chevrolet Monza (Wagon) both weighed in under 2900 lbs so the power to weight ratio was fun to play with. I ran a 2.53 rear gear and would drag race out of the hole in second gear (Saginaw 4 spd). I would pull the Mustangs out of the hole while they changed gears 2 times (1st-2nd into 3rd) I was still in second walking away lol. Just old fashion fun. "You check your hawg head lately?" lol I would get people with that one. Heedehcheenuh Chuck D Ride on..... A 2:53 gear Leaving in Second of a Saginaw Slush Box? Are you at the Salt Flats or Talladega with that Gearing? surely Not at a Drag Strip. At the Strip? What do you measure your 60' Foot times in? Days or Weeks?

Days or Weeks? lol Car weight was nothing with that thing. Fully dressed out full tank of gas tool box and speaker system she never got heavier than 2,800lbs. 13" tires and rims Mickey Thompson Sportsman Is would grip. She was a blast to drive and would fool a lot of people. 1st gear was a waste of time and the torque would pop it out of gear when you hammered it. At 110-115 mph going from 3rd to 4th she would smoke the tires and you had best steer it to the right as she would lift the left front and drive towards the left lane fast. Sometimes I wish I still had her but she scared the mess out of me. The fastest I ever ran her was 165 mph with 1/3rd-1/4th throttle left. That was a no go with no roll cage for sure. Latest update. Got the NCY variator kit on (Drive face-variator and 13g rollers) and windscreen. Stock she was hitting rev limiter at 62mph then the kit moved her to 65-67mph and the windscreen opened her up to 73 mph (gps) 70 speedo. I have the Leo Vince Corsa GP Silencer on the way. I will remove the battery connection to reset the FI (Fuel Injection) computer to remap. I think she will run 80+ now as I let off running 73mph because I hit the speed I wanted. The 60+mph climbing hills are no issue now. I hate the thing is so comfy I do not want to stop riding her lol

Hey guys. Forgive me if I'm in the wrong place, but this seemed most appropriate.
I just purchased a Powermax 150 and assembled it from the factory crate, I followed all of the instructions they offered. I can kick-start the motor fine, but the electric ignition switch doesn't make a sound whatsoever, even with the kill-switch disengaged and the left brake depressed, I can't get anything.
The other thing is, while running, the lights dim significantly when braking. Other than that, everything seems fine. I'm going to pick up a multi-meter to troubleshoot the problem, but it seems the starter isn't receiving electricity. I also had a auto parts store check the battery, and they said it's fully charged.
Any input or advise is greatly appreciated.

Now that being said, you most definatly want to check the grounds, the starter solenoid signal wire, and handlebar/kickstand kill switch if it has one.

The fuse coming off the positive terminal of the battery had blown initially, and evidently had blown again, which I've seen connects to the ignition switch. Replaced that and all is well.
Thanks again. Good riding.
