Sounds like valves to me. A little ticky-tick is ok but that sounded a little too loud. I'd re-adjust and re-tighten valves and check everything else to make sure cam is properly seated and cam chain aligned to be on the safe side.

I discovered the oil is coming out of the fuel filter I use instead of a catch can on the vent hose from the valve cover. It does seem like I'm getting more blow-by with the synthetic oil. I only have a 6-8" piece of hose from the vent on the valve cover to the filter. I will lengthen that a few more inches and secure it a little higher up so the oil flows back into the head to see if that slows it down. One of these days I'll build one of those fancy oil catch cans.

I just changed my oil and replaced the dino oil with Mobil 1. Now my scooter leaks. The bike has 2660 miles. Has anyone else had this happen? I haven't really tracked down exactly where it is leaking from. I'll look into it further tonight but I'm just wondering if this is something that has happened to others.

My daughter stuck a label on mine that says "Happy Days". I think she made the sticker because everytime I ride I come home happy.

I had this happen and just laid the scooter on its side to do the work. Saw a video of a scooter mechanic in India working on one like that so thought I'd give it a try. Just make sure there isn't much gas in the tank and let it sit upright for awhile to allow the oil to flow back into crankcase.
