You could always carry your scooter on your back and walk to the course.

Keep in under 30mph and keep your mouth shut and you'll stay out of trouble.

I am NOT comfortable with just the thought of driving it on the highways with the semis doing 65-70++ mph. They pull my car when they barrel past. I shudder to think what would happen on my scoot. >'Kat You could get sucked into the back end and ripped apart. Happened to my grandmother's nephew on his way back to Florida 22 years ago.

Don't buy garbage. Save yourself many headaches and get something that only requires routine maintenance to stay running.

A lot of Bintelli owners rave about their scooters. Tomos has scooters as does SYM. It's difficult finding anything brand new under $1,200 that's worth while.

I don't own much and what I do own didn't cost a lot. Oh, BROTHER... I can identify with you! Join the club... LOL!It took me over a year to save up $700 to buy my first Chinese 150 six years ago. Then another year or so of selling my junk on eBay, and doing computer art here and there to squirrel away another $2,000 to get my "new" used old '07 Kymco 250. You always treasure something more, when you have to sweat and sacrifice to get it... Yup...Enjoy your scoot when you get it! And, be sure to keep it locked up.Ride safe,Leo in Texas It will take me about that long to save up the $1,600 that I need.

One note on chaining up and multiple locks. If you make it look valuable or too much of a challange similar to climbing Mount Everest then you may be inviting theft instead of deterring it. That's only at night when it will be covered.

It may or may not deter a thief but the idea is to have evidence of who it was.
